Vicky

ADOPTABLE IN MONTREAL OR CDMX

Vicky is a sweetheart of a dog. She spent the first few years of her life living in a canal, surviving abuse and abandonment, yet she holds no grudges. Whenever visitors come to the shelter, she tries to catch their eye, hoping someone will stop to look at her—but the days keep passing without her chance arriving. She is perfect: she walks beautifully on a leash, is very clean, and loves to snuggle with her doggy siblings and anyone else who will let her. She gets along wonderfully with all kinds of dogs and people. We haven’t tested her with cats, but we think she would get along with them too (we can arrange a test). She gets a little shy when separated from the other dogs—she isn’t used to being an only dog—but she quickly gains confidence. She has a low-to-medium energy level; she is calm at home but always ready for walks and outdoor adventures whenever the opportunity arises. She is currently around 5–6 years old and is a medium-to-large dog (20 kg). If you would like a truly unconditional companion and want to add heaps of love to your life, please fill out the application below.
